Online Courses
After purchase, you will receive an email with your login details and a link to access your course. You can also log in to your student dashboard at any time. Your course will be waiting for you in your Active Courses section, ready to start immediately.
Yes, your progress is saved automatically after every module. You can pause at any time and resume exactly where you left off — your progress syncs across all devices. There is no time limit for completing your course.
Absolutely. Our learning platform is fully responsive and works on desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. You can start a course on your computer and continue on your phone — your progress syncs automatically.
Once purchased, you have 12 months to complete your course. While we recommend completing training within a reasonable timeframe, this gives you plenty of flexibility. Extensions are available if needed — just contact our support team.
All you need is an internet connection and a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). No special software or plugins are required. We recommend using an up-to-date browser for the best experience.
Certificates & Accreditation
Yes, all SafeGuard Learning courses are independently verified and CPD certified. Upon successful completion, you will receive a CPD-certified digital certificate that can be downloaded immediately. Our certificates are recognised by schools, NHS Trusts, care providers, and other organisations across the UK for continuing professional development.
Your CPD certificate is available immediately after you pass the final assessment. You can download it straight from your student dashboard — no waiting, no delays. It will also remain in your Certificates section permanently for future downloads.
Our CPD-certified certificates are widely accepted as evidence of safeguarding training by Ofsted, CQC, local authorities, and professional bodies. The certificates clearly state the course title, CPD hours, and completion date — all the information inspectors need to see.
Employers can verify certificates through our Certificate Verification page. Simply enter the certificate ID and the learner's surname to confirm the certificate is genuine and view the course details. This provides assurance that staff have genuinely completed their training.
CPD certificates do not have a fixed expiry date. However, statutory guidance recommends that safeguarding training is refreshed every 2-3 years. Many organisations require staff to renew their safeguarding training annually. We recommend checking your organisation's specific policy.
Corporate Training & Pricing
Corporate pricing is based on the number of staff you need to train. We offer tiered pricing that reduces the cost per person as your numbers increase. For organisations with 10-50 staff, prices start from £14.99 per person. For 51-250 staff, from £12.49 per person. For 250+ staff, we provide custom pricing. Yes, you have full control over course assignments. You can assign Level 1 courses to all staff, Level 2 to those with more responsibility, and Level 3 to DSLs and safeguarding leads. Different departments or roles can have different training pathways.
Yes, we can arrange a demonstration of our corporate platform, including the management dashboard, for organisations considering a corporate plan. This gives you a chance to see the platform in action and ask any questions before committing.
Yes, we can provide a single consolidated invoice for your organisation, or arrange purchase order billing for larger contracts. We can also set up annual renewals to simplify your procurement process.
Payments & Refunds
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. For corporate clients, we also accept purchase orders and can arrange invoicing for larger contracts. All payments are processed securely.
Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your course for any reason, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will provide a full refund — no questions asked. This does not apply if you have already downloaded your certificate.
We offer discounted rates for registered charities and voluntary sector organisations. Please contact our team with evidence of your charitable status for a tailored quote. Individual student pricing is not currently available.
Renewals & Refresher Training
Statutory guidance recommends that safeguarding training is refreshed every 2-3 years. However, KCSIE states that DSL training should be updated every 2 years, and many organisations require annual refreshers. Check your organisation's policy and your regulatory body's requirements.
We recommend completing the full updated course rather than a condensed refresher, as legislation and guidance can change significantly. However, our courses are regularly updated, so when you repurchase, you always get the most current content.
For individual learners, we recommend keeping track of your certificate date. For corporate clients, our platform includes automated renewal reminders that notify staff and managers when training is approaching expiry.

On the Student Login page, click the 'Forgot your password?' link. Enter the email address you used to register, and we will send you a password reset link. Check your spam folder if you do not see the email within a few minutes.

Progress is saved automatically when you complete each module. If your progress didn't save, it may be because you closed the browser before the module marked as complete. Try completing the module again and ensure you see the completion confirmation before exiting.
