Building on the foundations of Level 1, this course provides deeper knowledge of the referral and assessment process, multi-agency working arrangements, and how to contribute effectively to safeguarding within your organisation. The purpose and process of child protection conferences, core groups, and child protection plans — and your role as a professional.

Renewal Guidance
Safeguarding training should be refreshed at least every 2 years. DSLs and senior staff should update their training annually.
